Join Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora on October 16 for a policy briefing on Ending Colonialism: Puerto Rico's Path to Sovereignty.

This event will feature Puerto Rican experts from the island and from the United States who will tackle key questions about political and economic considerations in the transition to sovereignty. Our guests will be:

  • Dr. Juan Dalmau, Secretary General and former gubernatorial candidate of the Puerto Rican Independence Party, and constitutional law professor
  • Dr. José Caraballo Cueto, Director of the Center for Development Studies and professor in the graduate business school at the University of Puerto Rico
  • Renata Beca Barragán, Legislative Director, Representative Nydia Velázquez (NY-7)
