Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora (BUDPR) engages in political advocacy and action to influence federal legislation regarding Puerto Rico, to raise awareness of critical issues facing our nation, and to ultimately pursue a just decolonization process that will result in Puerto Rican independence.
Unlike other leaders and organizations who claim they are fighting for Puerto Rico, we are not paid lobbyists and we do not represent or directly support any political party in Puerto Rico or in the United States. Our goal is to speak to and work with any leaders who will heed our demands for justice and sovereignty and who are willing to champion Puerto Rico.
