Join Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora (BUDPR) and the diaspora organization of the Puerto Rican Independence Party as we commemorate El Grito de Lares: Puerto Rico's 1868 revolt for independence.
Come meet leaders from two organizations fighting for Puerto Rico's political sovereignty and help us build community among boricuas and allies in Colorado. We'll honor the patriots who fought for Puerto Rico's freedom more than 150 years ago and talk about how that struggle continues today.
We will also enjoy some great music and beverages thanks to our host, Raíces Brewing.
