Join Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora (BUDPR) for a conversation about Puerto Rico's healthcare system, its colonial status, and how sovereignty could be key to improving the health and well-being of Puerto Ricans who are struggling under the current system. Our expert speakers will be:
- Carlo Bosques, a medical student at the University of Puerto Rico and Master's in Public Policy student at the University of Chicago who has seen first-hand how Puerto Rico's healthcare system is not serving clinicians or patients
- Sergio Rivera Rodríguez, PhD MPH, a doctor of health policy and advocate for universal healthcare in Puerto Rico
